New poster design. Hand drawn and screen printed.
This hand drawn poster is an allegory for what’s happening today in the United States and the world at large. It speaks to the sleeping masses who, if they could fully awaken, would be able face the “monsters in the dark” and stop their diabolical activity. The art depicts an archetypical family, lying in bed watching television under a headboard that mirrors the United States capitol building dome, symbolizing the shadow government that operates in the open because our ignorance and silence is our consent. To the left of the bed is Death, the Grim Reaper, serving the family milk and cookies to symbolize the known toxic chemicals and dangerous GMOs in what is advertised as good wholesome foods, causing cancer, diabetes, heart disease and many other deadly or debilitating illnesses. To the right of the bed is a crazed Vampire Banker holding bags of money to symbolize the debt slavery, Federal Reserve Bank and its collection arm the IRS that suck the wealth of the people through inflation and steal trillions from the people in risky financial schemes. And finally the television with the symbol of the hierarchy: the pyramid with detached capstone, representing the propaganda machine that reinforces government domination of our lives and captivates our subconscious with messages of powerlessness, insecurity and the worship of material wealth.
I am giving away the print files (PDF) as a tool for us to spread the word at a low cost. Print it at school, work or take it to your local print shop. You should be able to print them at 20 cents a copy or less. The file is tabloid sized (11inches x 17inches) for greater impact. Feel free to print as many as you like and as big or small as you like.

A flyer for Paul Woolford at Asylum Honolulu. Inspired by some album covers of the 70’s instrumental rock bands my friend has been showing me. I took Pyrite cubes and made them ascend, despite their nature, to form a larger cube in the heavens. Sort of a ikibana for Saturn.
